Throngs of art lovers/3D light show lovers showed on Congress Street Friday night to watch a pretty fantastic optical extravaganza "Lights Across Congress" in celebration of the reopening of the Portland Museum of Art.

The museum had been closed for a month for renovations, and judging by the scale of the spectacle, art is alive and well in Maine.

WCYY was there to capture the whole thing via Facebook Live. The museum admission fee was waived last night after the show, and is also waived tonight (Saturday) so that everyone can check out the changes to the space.
