It's been almost a decade since the alt-rock staple Weezer has made a visit to Maine. Back in the summer of 2015, the band played the Portland waterfront to a raucous crowd. Weezer is coming back to Vacationland this summer, but this time on the Bangor waterfront as they will play the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Friday, June 30.

Weezer's last major summer tour was the Hella Mega Tour that featured Green Day and Fall Out Boy. This time around, Weezer is hitting the road in support of their series of four-part album known as "SZNS". Weezer will be supported by Future Islands for their tour stop in Bangor.

Since their last visit to Maine, the band has seen a career rebirth thanks to their viral cover of Toto's "Africa". On their most recent tour stops, Weezer has been playing extensive sets that touch on every facet of their career.
