Well I Attempted to Run the Beach To Beacon Course Yesterday [VIDEOS]

Ok this pic is clearly not from the Beach To Beacon. I spaced taking a selfie yesterday so I found this ridiculous stock image in it's place. Maybe someday....

Anyone who knows me will not be surprised with the reasoning behind me not finishing the Beach To Beacon route yesterday after work. My co-worker Ben and I decided it would be a good idea to run the 10k a few days before to get a feel for it. At close to the half way point I realized I had forgotten my keys in his car. Your first reaction is probably, so what? Watch the video and you'll understand...

Also a big what up to the lap dog schnauzer thing that chased Ben and I down the street for a few hundred feet during mid-run.

A fun course (from what I ran) with some challenging points along the way. I felt good yesterday and felt the momentum. Hoping for the same on Saturday. Good luck to all the runners!
