What is Maine Best (and Worst) At?

As we're all aware, 97.2% of statistics are made up on the fly. While some carry some real weight, most are meaningless numbers pulled out of thin air to make a high schooler's english paper sound a little more official.

Well, BRIGHT SIDE has recently worked with statistics from state to state - with all 50, in fact. They've made a YouTube video, embedded above, where they examine, via statistics, what every state is best and worst at. So what's Maine got to boast about, or stash in the closet with our skeletons?

Well, according to BRIGHT SIDE, Maine's best statistical attribute is that we have less violent crime than any other state. No wonder everyone feels to safe. What we're worst at? Diversity - according to the video, over 90% of Maine's population is caucasian.
