Looking for ideas this coming weekend for the family? Well, you're trusty, "activity-finder" is here to help! In Litchfield, there is this incredible farm called, Iron Leaf Farm. It's run by Anne Seber and her family.
Now, Anne and her family have some famous goats. I have seen so many photos of goats wearing sweaters online and it is all coming from this beautiful Maine Farm!
Now, you can have a chance to meet these famous sweater-wearing goats!
May 7th, they have their 3rd Annual, "Opening Farm Day." This is a day for you to gather up your kiddos and family, pile into the mini-van or truck and drive over to 124 Neck Road in Litchfield, to have some fun. The event will be held on May 7th, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Who doesn't want to see a goat in a sweater? Anne Seeber, Owner, told me that a friend of the farm hand-makes these sweaters for the goats.
I have always loved animals and if your child does too, this is the best form of growth and development for the little ones to connect with these fur babies.
They can learn about the care of the animals and even snuggle with them too. Some of the animals that want to see you are the baby goats, adult goats, chickens, baby chicks and ducklings!
If you are not already drawn into the cuteness, here is a video of some of the goats frolicking together for there first time outside since winter!
If you're ready to get your snuggle on, head on over to see the famous sweater-wearing-goats at Iron Leaf Farm!
Check out the photos of all of some of the adorable animals you will see at Iron Leaf Farm on Opening Day!
