10 Awesome Happy Hours in Downtown Portland That You Might Not Know About
Lots of local spots downtown do them but who exactly? And what do they entail? And when are they available? All of this info has been gathered and displayed for you right here! If you're looking to take advantage of cheap drinks and apps while meeting up with some friends after work, you're welcome! Here are some good ones that I found...
The happy hour at Old Port Sea Grill runs 7 days a week from 4-7pm and includes $5 glasses of wines, $3 draft beers, $5 Cosmos and Manhattans and $2 oysters....yes, $2 oysters.
Amigos happy hour runs everyday with select craft drafts on special for $3.50 along with Bud and PBR for $2.50 from 3-7pm. They're probably most known for Taco Tuesdays though, 99 cent tacos during that time too! Ground beef, refried bean or black bean.
Dimillo's, the floating restaurant, down on the waterfront on Commercial Street has a bunch of $6 appetizers to choose from. Their happy hour runs from 4-7 Mon-Fri. They also have early bird dinner specials. Here's all the info on both.
Mon-Fri from 4-7 take advantage of Shipyard pints for only $2.75. Absolut Vodka cocktails are only $3 too! Often times, whoever is behind the bar might be tossing out free tickets to Hadlock Field to watch the Sea Dogs play!
Although we can't wait for the Porthole patio days to return, don't forget they're open all year long! Their happy hour runs Mon-Fri 3-7pm, Sat & Sun 1-4pm. Take advantage of $1 and $2 beers and well drinks. They're also servin' up half priced apps!
If you're a looking for a tasty and cheap margarita, Buck's Naked BBQ in the Old Port has you covered with $5 margs everyday from 2-6, in addition to a bunch of cheap snacks.
MJ's is located right at here at One City Center with a nice outdoor patio for those nice days, and as you may expect a huge selection of wine. Take advantage of select $5 glasses every weekday from 4-6pm.
Pat's in the Old Port runs their happy hour Mon-Thurs from 4-6pm. $3 House wines are offered as well as $2 domestic beers, $5 well drinks and $3 for select appetizers.
If you like country music and a good deal on food and drinks, then you'll probably dig Bonfire's happy hour. Oh wait, I forgot to mention the most important part....free bacon! The Bacon Happier Hour runs everyday from 4-7. In addition to free bacon, there are other great deals. Details here.
A great happy hour right down on the waterfront on Commercial. Very affordable appetizers and salads from their Japanese and sushi bar menu starting at just $3! They also offer some great draft and sake specials starting at $2.50. Gotta take advantage of this one before summer though because I'm pretty sure this is a seasonal deal.
