WalletHub.com has released their list of the '2016's Fattest States In America' (couldn't they have been a little bit nicer with the title of article?) The rankings come from data from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention. WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on 17 key indicators of weight-related problems.
Maine is right in the middle at #25 on the list.
The New England states seem to be in good shape.
New Hampshire was 28th, Vermont was 38th, Rhode Island was 40th, Connecticut was 46th and Massachusetts was 48th.
The fattest state is Mississippii.
The least fattest state is Utah.
