New Restaurant Officially Opens At The Maine Mall Food Court

There's been a lot of change at the Maine Mall in a short amount of time to start 2026.

Some major retailers like Eddie Bauer and Francesca's are departing the mall as they close stores nationwide.

Other chains, like Leggings Home and Orangetheory Fitness, have also departed the Maine Mall permanently.

So it's about time that the Maine Mall has a grand opening. And they just have, welcoming a brand new addition to their Food Court.

Aromas of India Has Officially Opened At the Maine Mall Food Court in South Portland

Indian food appears to be taking Maine by storm as several new Indian restaurants have recently opened or have planned openings this year.

Aromas of India had been hinted at coming to the Maine Mall Food Court since the beginning of the year. The restaurant is now officially open.

It's located in the old Arby's space next to Sarku.

Soul Food Paradise occupied the space following Arby's departure nearly four years ago but their stay was short.

Aromas of India At The Maine Mall Has a Large Menu For a Food Court Restaurant

If you decide to visit Aromas of India at the Maine Mall, you'll notice they have an expansive menu for a food court restaurant.

They have an appetizer menu that includes some delicious veggie samosas.

Aromas of India also features a list of main courses featuring biryani and curry that includes both vegetarian and vegan options.

The restaurant closes out their menu with combo platters and some classic naan bread options.
