
A ‘Foodees’ Festival is Coming to the Maine Mall in South Portland
For one weekend in July, the Maine Mall parking lot in South Portland is going to look a lot different.
That's because a traveling food and culture festival called Foodees Fest is coming to the Portland, Maine, area and promising to bring more than 40 different food vendors, culture, art and more.
And here's the best part. It is completely free to visit if you're interested.
Foodees Fest Arrives at the Maine Mall in South Portland July 24 to 26
Traveling across the country for years, the Foodees Fest states that their mission is to bring great food, great art and great culture together at every stop.

From Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, Foodees Fest will be taking place at the Maine Mall in South Portland.
Each Foodees Fest stop promising more than 40 different food vendors (most of them food trucks) as well as family-friendly activities that center around art and culture.
While admission to Foodees Fest is free, you can reserve tickets ahead of time by following this link.
The Maine Mall in South Portland Has Several Projects Going On
In another part of the Maine Mall parking lot, a brand new location of Chick-fil-a is currently under construction. That new Chick-fil-a is currently without a timeline for a grand opening.
In a different part of the Maine Mall, construction is set to get underway for the brand new Dick's House of Sport.
Dick's Sporting Goods will be winding down their operations at The Mall Plaza nearby with plans to open an immersive House of Sport store in the former Sears location.
