CarMax To Open Its First Maine Location In South Portland

By now, you've probably seen or heard the commercials for the used car dealer, CarMax. But up until recent construction began on a new location in South Portland, the closest CarMax location to Maine was in Massachusetts. That will all change shortly.

According to the Forecaster, CarMax will open a new used car lot, featuring 550 used cars and housing a 6,700 square foot building. The project is already underway and should be completed by the end of the summer.

Other CarMax locations do sell new vehicles, but this South Portland location will only focus on used cars. The address for the new location will be 415 Maine Mall Road, across from On The Border restaurant, and next to the Doubletree Hotel.
