For many people, when they think of the mysterious and the macabre, the name Edgar Allen Poe comes to mind. The writer and poet has become the stuff of legend thanks to his gothic fiction stories and poems.

So it makes sense to use Edgar Allen Poe's works as an inspiration for a travel pop-up bar series that will hit a handful of spots throughout the country. And considering that Edgar Allen Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts, having a Poe pop-up in New England is a must.

The Poe speakeasy will intentionally be dark and morbid. You'll be joined by Edgar Allen Poe historians, who will retell four chosen Poe stories during your 90-minute visit. During each story, you'll have the chance to sip on a Poe-inspired signature cocktail in the theme of the story being told. The cocktail list can be found here.

Reservations and Tickets Are Required to Enter the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy

Because of the theme and ambiance required to pull it off, there are only three available sessions on each of the three nights for the Edgar Allen Poe speakeasy.

Reservations and advance ticket purchase is required and while supples last, you'll be able to choose from the 6pm, 8pm or 10pm sessions. More ticket details can be found here.
