Entertainment, Arcade, Bowling And More Coming To Sanford Center

Smitty's Cinema in Sanford is opening a brand new entertainment arcade and a bowling alley in the Ocean State Job Lot building on Main Street next to Marc Motors.

According to the Journal Tribune, the new center will have more than 50 arcade games, air hockey tables, a 100 seat bar and lounge area with draft beers, a small menu for "comfort foods"  and a 10 lane bowling alley.

Courtney Taylor, Smitty’s Cinema  director of marketing says the Sanford Smitty's is the most successful theater, and that was big in the dicision making of where to put the center. There are other Smitty's locations in Biddeford, Topsham, Windham and New Hampshire, the Journal Tribune reports.

The new center should be open by this fall and will be looking to staff about 20 people, according to the article.
