If you were starting to feel like the summer concert season in Maine wasn't going to feature many rock shows, an old, familiar favorite is back to change that mood.

Waterfront Concerts announced that Godsmack will be returning to Bangor, Maine, on Friday, July 3 for a holiday weekend show that can't be missed.

This year's show will mark a return to Bangor for Godsmack, who put on a memorable performance at the waterfront in July of 2024.

Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy Will Be The Support Acts in Bangor, Maine

While Godsmack carries their own presence, this summer's show on the Bangor, Maine, waterfront will feature two additional acts well-known to rock music fans as Godsmack looks to celebrate the past, present and future of the rock industry.

Stone Temple Pilots will take the stage. The band now features Jeff Gutt as lead singer. Following the untimely death of former frontman Scott Weiland, the band made the decision to continue on. Gutt has been the lead man since 2017.

Dorothy has been picking up steam as a rock act that needs more focus and attention. If you plan on going to the show, get there early enough to catch Dorothy.
