According to the Bangor Daily News, an episode of A&E's popular television show "Hoarders" that was shot in Maine will air on March 13th rather than this Sunday as was initially planned. Because of the sensitive nature of the show, the identities of the people involved in the episode won't be revealed until the actual airing. However, the episode has been confirmed as being shot in Lisbon, Maine.

Additionally, reporters from the Bangor Daily news were told that ServiceMaster removed about 20,000 pounds of stuff from the home involved in the episode over the course of 3 days. It was also noted that as much as 8% of Maine's population is afflicted with a hoarding disorder, in large part because of the average age of Maine's residents.

If you've never seen an episode of "Hoarders", it can be a truly awakening experience. All cases featured on the show would be deemed "extreme", but it can be a reminder to look around your own home and ask, "why am i holding on to this stuff?". "Hoarders" is in its 8th season and has been a massive ratings success for A&E, the March 13th episode filmed in Lisbon will be the first shot in Maine.
