There is nothing better than walking the aisles of the Great and Powerful Hobby Lobby. Getting lost in the faux plants, witnessing the genius of all the "word art" and checking out every lamp ever made.

Depending on where you live, for example, if it's in Augusta you may have to travel to a nearby town, like Waterville to get your "Hobby on" but not anymore!

The Augusta, Maine, Hobby Lobby is NOW OPEN!

The store is located at 10 Whitten Road, and it is open for business. They are right next store to Harbor Freight, and this is something we've been waiting for.

Check Out: Harbor Freight & Hobby Lobby Could Soon Have Stores in Augusta, Maine

We've been keeping our eyes peeled on when the store was set to open, and it's finally happened. The building they've moved into is the 43,000-square-foot building that used to host the old Sears. Remember Sears?

Maine now has 4 Hobby Lobby locations: Waterville, Bangor, Auburn and Augusta.

The opening was announced back in January 2022, as reported by the Kennebec Journal.

According to their website, Hobby Lobby operates during regular store hours, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day, except on Sundays when they are closed.

This place is a real treasure trove and being a new homeowner myself, I have spent many hours in this magical store buying what I need and buying more of what I don't need but HAD TO HAVE.

With over 700 stores throughout the country, Hobby Lobby was listed by Forbes & Fortunes as one of America's largest private companies, according to their website.

Happy shopping.
