Maine Has This First of its Kind Restaurant in the Country
Of course, we know people have been grabbing food out of vending machines for decades, from sandwiches to granola bars and even soup. But stumbling across this article about a vending machine restaurant in Maine with a side of WiFi most definitely takes the idea of a unique fast food idea to a different, delicious level.
According to the NewsBreak Wells is home to a new lunchtime and dinner dining experience where you order your food from a vending machine, then sit down and enjoy in their cool lounge atmosphere. It's called Fotogo, where a company called Clean Eats (known for high-quality freshness and nutrition) is the vendor of this fast food-meets-technology concept. Fotogo says it's all about providing quick access to healthy foods.
Instead of going up to a counter to order food or ordering your lunch from a server, according to NewsBreak, you have numerous vending machines to choose from where you simply insert your credit card. From sandwiches to quinoa bowls, drinks, and full meals, you have plenty of choices while feeling good about what you're eating. Fotogo says they even have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals.
And you know how I mentioned the technology aspect above? Well, true to today's social media world and sharing our life moments, Fotogo is Instagram-worthy. According to the NewsBreak app, there's a wall dedicated to capturing and sharing your delicious moments from this unique vending machine restaurant using the vibrant backdrop.
Is this the future? According to NewsBreak the owner, Marina DeMarco, plans to expand across the country.
