Drunk Motorcyclist Clocked at 171 MPH on NH’s Route 101

A Florida motorcyclist was intoxicated when he was clocked at 171 mph on Route 101 in Exeter Sunday afternoon.
New Hampshire State Police troopers were on patrol around 5:15 p.m. when Christopher Unghire, 36, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, zoomed in the eastbound lanes at 120 mph. Unghire continued to accelerate and hit 171 mph before he pulled over.
Unghire was charged with reckless driving, reckless conduct, and aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment in Hampton Circuit Court on June 1.
