There's a handful of jingles that every single person who was born, raised, and has lived in Maine knows by heart. Funtown Splashtown USA has one of those jingles. At one point in time, you couldn't escape it cause it was everywhere. And as any good business is aware of, once you have an iconic jingle, you've got to ride that wave for as long as it goes. So while everyone knows the familiar Funtown Splashtown USA jingle, the amusement park gave musician Xander Nelson an opportunity to crank it up a little bit by putting a pop-punk spin on it.

Shared on YouTube, the essence of the iconic jingle is still there, but with a few added extras to make it even catchier. So what inspired Xander Nelson to reimagine the Funtown Splashtown USA jingle? Simple- he's one of several musical acts set to perform at the third and final adults-only night at Funtown on Saturday, August 27.

The last 21+ adult-only night of the 2022 season will be Saturday, August 27, from 7:30-11:00pm. The event remains a limited capacity event with only 1,900 guests possible.  Similar to the second adults-only night, there will also be more serving stations around the park to accommodate guests and reduce wait times. There will be an additional change for August 27 as well. Instead of a DJ spinning tunes, Funtown will host three live music acts: Dave Gutter and the Bad Clams, Coyote Island, and Xander Nelson.
