5 Holiday Pop-Ups You’ll Find at the Maine Mall This December

The holiday shopping season is in full swing throughout Maine. From small town shops to a hub for retail like the Maine Mall.

If you haven't left the couch because you've been putting off your shopping spree, you've been missing out on a few new pop-up shops at the Maine Mall.

Here's a quick snapshot of what you'll find mixed in between the regular stores at the Maine Mall.

The Blue Alpaca Store

For several years, the Blue Alpaca has been a part of one of the holiday shopping kiosks scattered throughout the mall.

This year, they have their own full store. You'll find a wide selection of crafted socks, hats, mittens and more alongside some additional fun gifts.

Go! Calendars

The Go! Toys and Games store near Newbury Comics remains but a frequent holiday pop up has returned again for 2025.

That would be Go! Calendars near JC Penney. This year's pop up has a wide selection of daily and monthly calendars with some very specific and hilarious themes.

Mama Shugs Freeze Dried Candy

A new addition to the pop up shops for 2025 is something sweet delivered in a unique way.

That's where Mama Shugs comes in. Located near Best Buy, Mama Shugs has more than 40 flavors of freeze dried candy to choose from. They've also got a wide selection of cotton candy and other treats perfect as stocking stuffers.

Maine Christmas Ornaments

There's something about people from Maine loving the chance to celebrate the state. Which makes the Maine Christmas Ornaments kiosk a perfect addition to the holiday shopping scene.

The small kiosk has a rather large selection of Maine-themed ornaments perfect for your own tree or to send someone who misses their Christmases in Vacationland.

Light World Giving Machine

Also located near Best Buy, you'll find the most unique pop up at the Maine Mall this holiday season.

It's known as the Giving Machine, a vending machine where people can purchase items or services that are donated to those that need it the most.

There's a wide range of items and services between the two machines.
