‘The Ultimate Metallica Show’ – ‘Kill ‘Em All’ Celebration – July 24, 2022
Monday, July 25, marks the 39th anniversary of the release of Kill 'Em All, Metallica's debut studio album, so you know I had to pay tribute to it the day before on The Ultimate Metallica Show.
We listened to the entire studio album, from back to front—and it was awesome. In between the Kill 'Em All love, we also dug deep into Metallica's vaults for some early recordings and demos of "Master of Puppets," including a tape of Jason Newsted's first-ever audition with the band.
