I kind of went down a rabbit hole a few days ago.

I was preparing to celebrate the anniversary of the release of Metallica's ...And Justice For All on Aug. 25, like I always do, but all of a sudden, I was confronted with a bizarre reality: Aug. 25 might not actually be the date the record came out.

How could I have been wrong all these years?

You might be saying to yourself, "Dude, it's not that big of a deal. Chill out." And you're probably right, but for a nerd...I mean, for a fan like me, it was intriguing, to say the least.

So, I went down this rabbit hole and came out the other side with what I believe is a definitive answer for the seemingly simple question, "When the #$%! was ...And Justice For All released?" If you want to join me on the journey, you can read more about it here.

What this means is that even though Aug. 25 wasn't the real anniversary, we still did a little faux celebration on the latest edition of The Ultimate Metallica Show. We also played a couple of live tracks from Metallica's most recent live show in Pittsburgh, among other things.
