‘The Ultimate Metallica Show’ – Playlist and Recap – March 20, 2022
As we get ready for Boston Calling in just a couple of months, The Ultimate Metallica Show is going to be featuring more and more live tracks from past Metallica concerts in New England.
On Sunday night's show, I pulled out two songs from their 2009 gig at TD Banknorth Center in Boston, which was just a few months after the release of Death Magnetic. James Hetfield sounds intense and the band sounds loud; in other words, they sound like Metallica and it's awesome.
Last night's show also featured Metallica's incredible cover of Soundgarden's "Head Injury, performed at a 2019 tribute show for Chris Cornell. And we also went kind of deep on Load and Reload.
So, yeah...it was a fun one. If you missed any of the show, don't worry, you can check out the full playlist below.
