The early 1990s were an incredible time to be a rock and metal fan, as it saw the birth or mainstream popularization of many stellar subgenres (such as grunge, alternative rock, industrial rock, nu metal, rap rock and electronic rock). Plus, there was plenty of Britpop, pop punk, ska and skate punk to go around.

Obviously, these styles birthed some truly awesome and ageless bands, leading to dozens of once-in-a-lifetime concert packages and live experiences that have stayed with us ever since.

Perhaps more than any other year from that era, 1992 was stacked with superb shows. While there are far too many to get into here, the following 10 represent some of the best packages that – 30 years later – we’d give anything to attend again.
