Meet Toy Story Characters at 5 Maine Movie Theaters in June

The latest installment of the Toy Story movie franchise is set to be released in June and return some familiar faces and voices to the big screen.

For Toy Story 5, Woody may have taken on a little bit of an aged appearance but his longtime cohort Buzz Lightyear is still as vibrant as ever.

The two have been the ultimate faces of the Toy Story franchise over the last 30 years. And in hopes of making Toy Story 5 the biggest installment yet, Woody and Buzz are hitting the road to meet and greet with their fans.

That includes five stops at five different movie theaters in Maine.

Flagship Cinemas in Maine Holding VIP Meet and Greets with Woody and Buzz Lightyear

Flagship Cinemas has officially announced VIP packages for the Toy Story 5 nationwide release slated for Friday, June 19.

All 5 Flagship Cinemas locations in Maine will hold these VIP Toy Story events. Dates and times are below:

• Falmouth - June 18 - 3:45pm
• Wells - June 19 - 2:40pm
• Auburn - June 20 - 11am
• Waterville - June 20 - 4pm
• Thomaston - June 21 - 1:30pm

The VIP package includes a preshow meet and greet with Woody and Buzz Lightyear. It also includes access to the movie, a themed snack tray and a souvenir swag bag meant for kids.

Toy Story 5 Won't Be the Last Film in the Franchise

Rumors swirled months ago that perhaps Toy Story 5 would be the final film in the long-running franchise.

That doesn't appear to be the case.

While some characters may reach a "farewell" of sorts, the Toy Story brand and the ability to make new characters into major players will keep future projects alive.
