Pro Wrestling School Coming to South Portland, Maine, This Fall
For decades, professional wrestling has captivated audiences throughout the globe.
That's especially true for America, that has pro wrestling grow from a niche into a cultural institution.
Professional wrestling has become generational. Interest in the characters, storylines and showmanship is passed on from one generation to the next.
That interest can often turn into a dream of becoming a professional wrestling performer. But where and how do you start?
Two Independent Wrestling Companies Partner to Create Maine Pro Wrestling School
Here in Maine, some independent pro wrestling companies have found their footing through a mix of quality shows and smart marketing.
But every good wrestling company knows that having a constant flow of new, interesting talent is what keeps the fans engaged and the shows more fulfilling.
That's why Limitless Wrestling and the Eastern Wrestling Alliance have teamed up to create a brand new pro wrestling school set to open in South Portland, Maine, this fall.
It'll be called the Pine State Pro Wrestling School and will offer hopefuls a chance to learn the ropes while those with some experience will have a chance to take the next step forward.
Pine State Pro Wrestling School Could Elevate Maine's Footprint in the Business
There have been a handful of notable professional wrestling stars to make their way out of Maine.
Scotty 2 Hotty and Fandango both had lengthy runs with the WWE including appearances at Wrestlemania.
Luke Robinson and Brian Mailhot (aka Palmer Cannon) both spent time with WWE as well in different capacities.
The hope behind the Pine State Pro Wrestling School is that more individuals from Maine and other New England states will have a better chance at catching the eye and furthering their career at some of the top promotions throughout America.
A grand opening date for the Pine State Pro Wrestling School will be announced soon.
