One of those annual unique attractions in Maine is the Trail of Terror in Saco. For several years running, the organizers have held the Trail of Terror at Aquaboggan Water Park after the summertime hotspot has closed for the season.

Rest assured, it's back again in 2025.

What the Trail of Terror in Saco, Maine, is All About in 2025

The Trail of Terror will return to Aquaboggan this year and it will be centered around a familiar theme. It will mark the return of the mystical banshee, who isn't particularly happy to be brought back from the dead.

As the story goes, Judy (the banshee) was murdered in the woods behind Aquaboggan more than a century ago. Her blood curdling screams have been a fixture along the Trail of Terror over the years.
