Get Ready for a Surge of Late Summer Heat in New England Tomorrow
It's not quite time to say goodbye to summer in New England just yet!
According to the WMTW weather team, we can expect it to feel more like July or August tomorrow, with highs in the Portland area right around 83. A little extra humidity will make it feel even warmer.
It looks like the day will start with showers, but by afternoon it should be nice and toasty, with a good amount of sunshine.
If it gets up to 83, it'll be the first time it's been that warm in nearly three weeks!
Don't expect us to come close to the record high for September 11th though...that's 94 degrees, according to the news station.
I'm really looking forward to it feeling like summer again tomorrow. When I left my house this morning, it was in the 40s...so I actually wore a sweater today!
It looks like I'll be dressing a lot differently tomorrow, and maybe even heading to the beach.
