Does anybody else suffer from eating dinner too early and fighting off the urge to snack on the couch while you're unwinding before bed? Same. I think we can all agree on how much willpower it takes not to grab a bag of chips to satisfy that before-bed urge.

Here's where we can utilize our state's crops and what fruits is in season that can help us satisfy that bed time snack urge without adding the bad calories.

One of the best parts about living in Maine is the agriculture farm life we get our fruits and veggies from. In the summer months we get awesome farmer's markets, but that doesn't mean eating healthy is out of season in the winter months.

According to mainefarmersmarket.org, here's which fruits, veggies, and greens are in season from January through April in Maine. These are my suggestions to substitute an unhealthy bedtime snack with, since they're in their prime months (even when they're not).
