There was once a time when the Portland International Jetport wasn't considered all that busy. But that isn't the case any longer.

2025 proved it as more than 2.5 million passengers traveled through the Jetport in Portland, Maine, breaking the record that had been previously set in 2024.

With consistent passenger flow at the Jetport, some changes were needed to keep up with demand. Specifically to amenities and the food offerings available to those flying in and out of Portland, Maine.

Those changes are coming.

It's unclear whether the Luke's Lobster location will be a hybrid of what already exists on the :Portland waterfront.

The Jetport location of Sister's Gourmet Deli will be a return to Portland, Maine, for the business following the closure of their cafe in 2024.

The transition will take time, however. The plan will be to replace one restaurant at a time to ensure passengers still have variety to choose from.

Burger King Amongst Others Will Be Leaving the Jetport in Portland, Maine

With new restaurant additions to the Portland International Jetport arriving, that also means some longstanding restaurants will be departing.

That includes Burger King, which opened at the Jetport nearly 15 years ago.

Linda Bean's Lobster Cafe and the Shipyard Brewport will also be leaving the Jetport.

Perhaps a surprising loss for the Jetport will be Great American Bagel, a popular breakfast and coffee stop for many.
