Spose and Dave Gutter Take the Mic with Hello Newman on the CYY 20th Booze Cruise [VIDEOS]

Last Tuesday we hit a milestone...a big one! CYY celebrated 20 years on the air with the exact same playlist as day one (7/28/95). We had past CYY DJs and join us on the air to talk about the days gone by, it really was a great day!

We had to do something to get some of the hardcore/longtime listeners involved too. We decided a cruise out on Casco Bay aboard the Casablanca would be perfect....but not without Hello Newman performing the soundtrack to the first 5+ years of CYY.

Booze cruisers got a couple of surprises throughout the evening, including Spose singing his big CYY tune "Alternative Radio" with Hello Newman. This whole deal just fit to perfectly. ie: Hello Newman playing old CYY songs and Spose performing his song inspired by the early days of CYY (not to mention he's now a CYY DJ on the weekends!)

Then at the tail end of the night, Hello Newman wrapped up their set with the top 3 most played CYY songs of all time. While performing Sublime's "What I Got", Spose once again took the mic, this time with Dave Gutter of Rustic Overtones and Paranoid Social Club. What you'll see below was quite an epic freestyle battle between the two.
