Wallingford’s In Auburn Is Adding A Twist To One Of Your Favorite Fall Doughnuts

One of the true joys of apple picking in the Lewiston/Auburn area is getting your hands on some freshly made doughnuts at Wallingford’s Fruit House. Whether it’s the plain sugar, chocolate sugar apple cider or pumpkin, you can’t go wrong with whatever tasty treat you choose. But Wallingford’s decided to up their game for 2018, and add a twist to one of their famous doughnuts.
According to their Facebook page, Wallingford’s will offer CHOCOLATE CHIP pumpkin doughnuts for a limited time as a fall special. Even if pumpkin isn’t your thing, adding delicious chocolate chips to anything makes it an instant winner. The world is now a better, happier place and our stomachs are growling.
