Did You Know Batman Lives in Maine? These Photos Prove It

It's no secret that he's the man. Which man am I referring to? Glad you asked. I am talking about the Batman. He's been played by some of your favorite actors from Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Michael Keaton and George Clooney.

According to Britannica, Batman was created in 1939 for, "DC Comics by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane. Batman debuted in May 1939 in Detective Comics no."

But for this Maine Man, Batman is more then just a character played in a movie. Batman represents hope and happiness.

Vinny Donatelli was spotted in Lewiston on East Avenue recently, dressed as Batman driving a bat mobile.

As you're driving down the road, the last thing you expect to see is a super hero just chillin' behind the wheel. This doesn't happen in normal circumstances, unless, of course, you're day dreaming about his super low voice and veiny muscles right?

Well, yesterday I can tell you that I was not day-dreaming, I feasted my eyes on The Batman in a Batmobile, driving down the road. I did a double take. Was I instantly transplanted into a Marvel movie? If I was, I got dibs on Cat woman.

After seeing him, I knew I had to get to the bottom of it.

I reached out to the ether of Facebook and inquired about this to my friends.

They were very helpful and told me who he was and sent me photos of their children getting to visit with him!

Batman is huge right now. The new movie is out for all to see with Robert Pattinson as Batman but I think Pattinson has some competition here in Maine and he needs to watch out about because Vinny Donatelli doesn't just dress as Batman, he emulates him. Vinny has taken Batman to a different level and used his likeness to spread love around our community.

He says,

"I always love the Batman movies an one day I was looking for a bike so I came long the bat mobile and when I bought it and he showed me pictures of him being Batman in one of the movies and the batmobile was in it 6 times, so I felt there is a reason for this I was lucky"

Vinny is right, everything happens for a reason. So, because of this, he drives around town and stops to let members of the community, specifically children, come and take photos and visit. It's something that Vinny does purely out of spreading happiness to all.

Vinny goes onto say,

Everything thing about Batman is the person inside of him who cares about people and making everyone happy and making them feel safe. I love it, it brings joy to my heart.
