Chacarero in Boston, Massachusetts
Located at 101 Arch Street, Chacarero is one of the best and busiest sandwich spots in the city. Owner and Chilean native Juan Hurtado has been serving his homemade Chilean sandwiches (Chacareros) to hungry customers for over 25 years after "coming from Chile with his wife, same year his daughter was born, to give their family a better life," according to the restaurant's Facebook.
Here's a picture of Juan enjoying a Chacarero alongside his son. You can tell that both men have a passion for what they do.
So what exactly is a Chacarero? LoveFood describes it as...
...a traditional Chilean sandwich, it's filled with tender grilled steak or chicken (or a mix of both) in a soft round bread roll before tomatoes, steamed green beans, and muenster cheese are added. Then it's all topped off with mashed avocado and a spicy, peppery secret sauce.
