Leftover Lunch Has Arrived On WCYY

For more than two decades, lunch time on WCYY was something special. In the early days of CYY, the noon hour was known lovingly as "Lunch Bunch", where listeners and DJs gathered together to hear some of their favorite tunes. As CYY matured, the hour became known as "Throwback Lunch", where the lost but not forgotten tunes of the 80's, 90's and early 2000's still had a place to shine. If you've missed the special programming during lunch, WCYY invites you to join us at the table once again.

From 12pm-1pm each and every weekday, "Leftover Lunch" will play requests from the CYY fanbase all hour long. Like it's always been, you can make your requests via the phone lines at 207-792-9299. Additionally, WCYY has an interactive app where you can message the DJ directly to get your request on the airwaves. By the way, the WCYY app is free to download in whichever App Store you choose.

Don't forget that WCYY has launched several other features this March, including an entire hour of all your favorite 90's tunes along with all the lost gems too. Additionally, the Top 5 countdown has returned. Rather than count them down at 5pm, the Top 5 now airs at 3pm each weekday. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks as months as WCYY unleashes more new on-air and interactive features as well.
