I was flying back to Maine from Nashville and unfortunately got the middle seat. After I fell asleep, I was woken up by a terrible smell. I thought somebody had pooped their pants.
It is incredible to me that people can be so careless with other people's belongings in a parking lot. I'm not going to call out what this person looked like or where it was, but this situation I witnessed last night just doesn't sit well.
Here's a great example of how chivalry is not dead. I think I can categorize this story under chivalrous? Either way, this showed me that people do still have it in them to make a connection with a stranger in person instead of on the phone.
Parking can be frustrating. We have all been there. But it should never be frustrating enough to a point that you think it's OK to wreck somebody else's car because you can't control your anger. Right?
In the middle of nowhere Maine, alone, and desperately trying to find any type of back road with a run-down gas station to help finish the trip. That's when this unexpected hero showed up.
It's not all happiness and celebration during the holidays because so many of us are heartbroken with the constant reminders of what we once had during this time of year. I too struggle during the holidays but this is what I do.
