Ever wonder what rock bands played in Maine the most over the years? Although not confirmed, these 14 bands have shown our state plenty of love over the years, with a couple playing here close to 50 times. Excluding our talented local acts, here’s a rundown of the bands that I found to have played the most shows in the state and I’m pretty confident that we have two clear winners:

Concerts are piling up from Bangor to Portland for 2022, including several newly-announced shows from major national acts.

This is the best cooking show we've seen in a long time. Our friends at REVERB have been doing something called "Quarantine Kitchen", and we know you CYY listeners are going to love it.

So here's the deal, Ryan will be on WCYY starting at 8pm on Saturday, May 9th. He will be giving you the story about how this album was made and premiering these live tracks from OMAGAH for the very first time in Maine. From what we have heard so far (and you can check out some of the videos in this article) it sounds AMAZING. We think the band is at its best in a live situation. Add an orchestra and you've got something very special. Well done men! You keep hitting new heights, even after 27 years as a band!
