Markathon is back, so get ready to join Mark Curdo for a week of all types of music, donations for a good cause, special guests, and more. It's the best week in radio, of course. Here's what you need to know.

Mark Curdo will take to the airways from December 6 to December 11, 2021, to help raise funds for The Center for Grieving Children.

Maine. YOU did it again for Markathon. This year was a very different year for this annual event. Not being able to have guests in the studio was tough. It was really Mark Curdo by himself, all week. But YOU all kept him going on the CYY phones and through the CYY app and website with all your fantastic requests. Local businesses from all over Maine donated great items for the Markathon Auction. There were amazing interviews with Wolfgang Van Halen and our favorite Maine guy, Bob Marley. And most importantly, we had inspiring stories from families of the Center for Grieving Children. Put that ALL together, and Markathon 2020 was certainly one of the most meaningful Markathon's we've ever had.

What other radio station in the world went from Beyonce to Black Sabbath yesterday? ONLY CYY. It's Markathon and you all BROUGHT IT yesterday with your fantastic requests. Mark Curdo is staying on the CYY airwaves for 100 hours to play ANY song you want; as long as you make a donation (big or small) to the Center for Grieving Children. The Markathon Online Auction has become one of the coolest parts of Markathons. We have TONS of cool items...Rock stuff, restaurant gift cards, sports memorabilia, and much more. And not everything is crazy expensive...many bids start for as low as 10 bucks and all proceeds go to the Center for Grieving Children
